2nd Annual Tea Party Invitation !

It's that time of year again and hopefully more of you will be entering this year..

This year there are two themes, Royal Garden Party and The Big Top Circus.

All you have to do is create something based on the themes above,


it can be a painting, scrapbook page, Atc, Inchie, art doll, journal page, photograph, 3d arwork, greeting card or even hold your own party on the theme and take photos of it etc etc ANYTHING !! See the previous posts of last years entries to get an idea if you wish but it doesn't mean make a tea set on this theme it is anything to o with the themes above and tea parties..


You need to join The Altered Art Appreciation group on flickr to post pictures there however if you are a blogger and want to have a go please contact me on littlemisscraftyis@googlemail.com and I can add entries to the blog .

Entries must be posted on flickr between the 5th and 10th of April and voting will be held on the 11th and the winners will be announced on the 12th April.

There is a limit of 5 entries per person but if you wish to take part in both themes you can only post 3 entries on each. Don't forget to add your blog address if you have one on your submission and I will add it to the blog list here !

Tea Party Award

Hello, after the great pictures for the Mad Crafter's Tea Party I have decided to make a small award for the people who participated namely Paperbouquet, Bella Casa, Fleamarketstudio, Fertree33 and Eweandme. those who flickrmail me their address will receive an ATC and small rosette of appreciation !

This is the last day of the Mad Crafters Tea Party and this is my last guest Eweandme with an adorable little Tea party for one !

A little bit of colour !

Here is Fertree33 aka Jen Bowles, who has come up with a 3d creation and painted with brilliant colours and I love the fact that it is a little bit wonky, wonky is good..we like wonky. Thanks to everyone who has entered so far all the pictures are excellent, I get really excited when I see a new picture posted.




And here is Bella Casa aka Palmer with a plate of gorgeous cakes.. too good to eat...

Next Guest

The next guest is Sherry's Rose Cottage aka SherryRose, I was absolutely amazed at the sheer number of photos with the Tea Party theme although I think that it is actually her house and not just for this project so I had to put at least six on as there were about a thousand ! you must check out the rest of her picks on the group and everyone's work they are all brilliant members !

The Tea Party is here !

This is it, this weekend, I am going to post pictures of everyone who has participated and added pictures of their own Tea Parties, whether real or artwork.. I will also add a list of their blogs if they wish on this page so we can all visit each others blogs more easily and maybe come across those which we did not know existed ! I am going to add some of my own pictures first as I haven't seen any others yet !.. I am having an actual tea party tomorrow but I have already made some cakes so here they are, a traditional English Victoria Sponge cake which is a vanilla sponge with fresh cream and raspberry jam filling and a dusting of icing sugar on top, and miniature cupcakes with chocolate and rosewater sponge, vanilla frosting and the pink ones have an edible shimmer pink powder and sugared rose petals on top ! Mmmmmmm ( all made by my very own fair hands and own recipie !).
